Coverage in Manuel Antonio!

We just had the pleasure of having a few days of vacation in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. We like going there near the end of August and early September, because the crowds usually mellow out, and this year was no different. We took the time to test our new high speed mobile internet product and our cell phones for quality of coverage in the area. Good news-they both worked great! Coverage has always been spotty with TDMA and GSM phones once you get over the hill close to the beach and park.

We were pleased to find we could use our data cards, to get high speed internet (we could even use skype) and use our new 3G phones EVERYWHERE, including in the park. We had the same experience driving up and down the central Pacific, even down past the remote beach town of Uvita ( beautiful beach by the way. Here's a picture!).
